The Alptrek 50 is a comfortable trekking backpack made from lightweight, highly abrasion-resistant nylon, with a fully adjustable loading system and a high 50-litre capacity. It is designed for hiking and long-distance activities. For longer trips, you can also add an additional ten litres of volume via the removable, height-adjustable lid, which also functions as a removable bag.
Our Dry Back Custom loading system is easy to adjust, with a customisable back length, anatomically designed padded shoulder straps and a waist belt specifically designed for women. In addition, compression straps ensure an optimal fit to the back over long distances, while pre-shaped side stabilisers ensure a close fit and good load transfer to the hips. Large pockets provide plenty of room for spare clothing or tent poles, and there's dual access (front and top) to the main compartment for quick and easy retrieval of all your gear (even what's stashed at the bottom).
It features a hydration system outlet, ice axe/pole holders, rope closure, load control straps and side compression straps. It's also compatible with Salewa's hydration bladder holder. Other features include a rain cover, a handy rope for attaching additional gear and bottom attachment straps for your sleeping bag liner. A 50 litre backpack with excellent ventilation and a comfortable high load system for multi-day adventures.
