The Swift carabiner is a very lightweight wire-lock carabiner, ideal for quick set-ups, ice climbing and mountaineering. Its wire-lock design reduces weight and, more importantly, prevents it from freezing or filling with sand. The low weight of the closure also minimises the risk of abrasion when hitting rock.
