The Namche GTX is constructed with fully recycled, fluorocarbon-free fabric, an innovative fluorocarbon-free membrane, and a solution-dyed backing created with less energy than traditional dyeing methods. The result is a responsibly designed, high-performance waterproof jacket that is built to last, combining expert waterproof protection with low weight, foldability, and excellent freedom of movement for your daily hiking adventures.
The jacket has been designed to provide exceptional comfort on the mountain, with underarm vents that allow you to eliminate heat when the slope climbs, and a fleece-lined chin guard for when you're sheltered from the weather on a windy ridge.
The two-way adjustable hood can be tightened with a single hand pull and provides easy head turning with unobstructed vision. It also features a rigid visor that helps protect your face from the rain. Adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs fit snugly over gloves and there are two hand pockets to warm up numb fingers on colder days.
