The Ascendor AS is a comprehensive mountain pants that provides durability and protection against wind and weather. Suitable for climbing mixed terrain in all seasons, they have a snug fit and a wide range of movement.

Made from a Matrix softshell ™ Rugged and midweight, the Ascendor AS pants are a heavier version of the summer-oriented Ascendor Light. Built for all-season use, they are breathable yet offer warmth in cold conditions. The Ascendor AS pants have articulated knees and a full-length crotch gusset, providing mobility for high steps or bridges. The high waist is partially elasticated and fits comfortably with a harness, with the option to secure the pants with a belt or suspenders. These climbing pants have two mesh-lined hand pockets and a zippered thigh pocket to store essentials, with reinforced patches to protect the lower leg. Zippered ankle gusset allows the hem to be widened to accommodate various types of footwear, from trail running shoes to winter climbing boots.
