Camp's revolutionary lightweight and compact ventral ascender features a new patented pulley system for unparalleled efficiency during ascents. It provides low wear on both the rope and the ascender itself.
The Turbochest ascender features a pull-tab for improved grip. The cam is perfectly shaped for descending with alternate releases. The lower hole is designed for perfect positioning on the harness, while the upper hole is designed for inserting a tensioning sling.
The geometry of the device is proven for use in rope access. It includes drainage holes for mud and debris in both the cam and the body. It can also be used as a blocking pulley (for material recovery purposes only, 50 kg max.).
The ascender body is made of aluminum alloy and micro-cast stainless steel for durability. Certified according to EN 12841/B for semi-static ropes from 10.5 to 12.2 mm and according to EN 567 for ropes from 8 to 13 mm.
