It is extremely light and highly compressible, resulting in garments that are ideal as emergency layers for alpine climbing because of how easy and comfortable it is to carry them in your backpack or harness.
Treated with water repellent and extraordinarily low weight, it is a three-in-one, it can be worn as a mid-layer during a snow blizzard, as a top layer, or used as a reinforcement when reaching a windy summit.
