The R1 Air Full Zip Hoody can be used as an outer layer for mid-season or as an intermediate layer in winter conditions. Thanks to its calorific value, its breathability and its thin volume, it is ideal for activities with intermittent efforts, in which we go from intensity to calm, such as climbing.

It is made of recycled and elastic fabric thanks to to the combination of 100% recycled polyester and elastane, making it breathable, compressible and durable. Polartec® fabric is made with Power Grid™ technology, a patented two-component design with geometric constructions that generate specific contact points to control moisture. The surface next to the skin is hydrophilic to absorb water vapor from sweat and evacuate it to the outside. The outer surface then disperses moisture for more efficient evaporation. The mesh design contributes to creating open air channels that improve breathability and reduce the volume of the fabric used.

The fabric used also has the Fresh anti-odor technology from HeiQ®, a comprehensive family of sustainable volatile organic compound (VOC) management and odor control technologies. These technologies are highly effective and can be adapted to the intended performance of each garment and the final use that each product will be given.

It has a versatile design for climbers and backcountry skiers. The hood fits comfortably and does not get in the way when worn under a helmet. The seams are outside the shoulder area so they are not uncomfortable when wearing a backpack. It incorporates an exterior chest pocket to always have essential items at hand. Full zip with a small trolley compartment and internal chin flap for total comfort. Soft elastic cuffs that fit but do not constrict when rolled up over the forearms.
