Steel 320+ PFA probe from Ortovox , robust and firm with a length of 320 cm divided into 8 sections. Focused on professionals in the sector, essential to be able to locate victims who are buried by snow after having suffered an avalanche.
Its steel construction makes it rigid and resistant. It incorporates a lateral measurement scale with which we can know the depth at which we are probing and its conical tip facilitates penetration in the snow.
It is made up of eight sections joined with a metal wire rope thanks to the PFA system that is easily blocked by pressing the end cap. It has a graduation in centimeters to know the depth of the burial.
The length of the probe can be increased by adding additional segments (sold separately) of 42 cm in length. They are assembled by threading in the part of the tip.
