Optimally filled with 700 fill down insulation and combined with a fluorocarbon-free windproof exterior to reduce wind chill, it is an ideal mid or booster layer for the winter mountains.
When turbulent clouds cover remote alpine walls in a cold gloom, the elastane-trimmed cuffs and hem and adjustable, helmet-compatible hood help seal in valuable warmth. The zippered kangaroo hand pocket is perfect for thawing frozen fingers, while another zippered pocket safely stores essentials and can be accessed when wearing a harness. When needed, the jacket folds into its pocket for easy storage in a backpack or clipped to a harness.
