Third and final day of our expedition. We close our Tour 30 ski touring backpack. The safety equipment is in place. We put the sleeping bag in the bottom of the backpack and close its zipper. We fill the hydration bladder. We adjust the strap, belt, shoulder straps and load straps. Off we go.
We continue on. The ergonomics of this backpack, which is both comfortable and technical, are much appreciated. If we need them, the ice axes are attached to our sturdy, water-repellent ski backpack. A little down? We take a cereal bar out of the zippered pocket on the belt.
Final descent. We take the glasses out of their pocket and take one curve after another to the cars. We open our ski backpack through the full-length opening. And we take out the keys that we keep well secured in the internal mesh pocket.
