We reach the summit. The end is steep. We attach our skis to the side ski rack of our Tour 28 ski touring backpack. We swap our poles for our ice axe. Two more metres. Here we go.
The first snowflakes are starting to fall. We take our Gore-Tex® out of the backpack's full-length opening. We put our skins in the side mesh pocket and take our goggles out of their compartment. Our ski backpack, well-fitting thanks to its feminine ergonomics and load straps, stays in place on the descent.
We reach the hut. The zippered bottom of the backpack allows us to easily remove our sleeping bag and clean clothes. It's all dry thanks to the durable, water-repellent material of our 100% recycled polyester backpack.
