Innovative and robust belay device from the Mammut brand for sport climbing, with a very light and intuitive design that allows dynamic locking with minimal effort.
The Nordwand Alpine features a novel V-shaped groove design and rear rope support surfaces made of abrasion resistant steel to prevent wear. The steel insert also prevents the belay device from overheating. The case is made of lightweight aluminum, so the total weight of the device amounts to only 80 grams.
Suitable for double, medium and single ropes from 7.5 to 10.5 mm.
