Ortis descent device by Kong designed for the evacuation of cable installations, adventure parks, cable cars ... The rescuer can lower a person with a controlled speed (between 0.5 and 2 m / s). The device is designed to be used with a 11mm Lanex semi-static rope conforming to EN 1891.
It incorporates a very resistant aluminum drum and a spiral lever to manage the speed of the descent. In an emergency, other semi-static or dynamic ropes with a diameter between 10 and 13 mm can also be used.
