The Vertical Jacket features a hybrid construction that combines Airlite Windproof material with Polartec® Alpha® interior insulation and AFT Double Weave Pro panels.
Airlite Windproof fabric is lightweight, breathable and windproof. Polartec® Alpha® insulation, originally developed for the US Special Forces, is strategically placed in key areas of the interior. Its hydrophobic fibres resist moisture and dry quickly, while offering excellent heat retention and a soft fleece-like texture. This active insulation is ideal for intense activities such as ski touring, cross-country skiing or fast ascents, as it allows for effective moisture evacuation.
The technical cut and flexible AFT Double Weave Pro panels ensure unrestricted freedom of movement. The PFC FREE water-repellent finish protects the outer fabric from water absorption and keeps the insulation dry.
The jacket features the YKK Vislon Slim zipper, which allows for compact packing without risk of damage. The hood is helmet compatible and the high-positioned main pockets are accessible even when wearing a hipbelt or harness.
