The Steep Jacket features a hybrid construction that combines Airlite Windproof material with Polartec Alpha insulation and AFT Double Weave Pro panels for optimal performance in high-intensity ski mountaineering and ski touring activities.
Airlite Windproof fabric is lightweight, windproof and breathable, while Polartec Alpha insulation, originally developed for the US Special Forces, provides warmth and excellent moisture management. Its hydrophobic fibers resist moisture and dry quickly, making it ideal for intense activities such as ski touring, cross-country skiing or fast climbing.
AFT Double Weave Pro panels offer flexibility and freedom of movement, while the PFC FREE water-repellent finish protects the outer fabric and insulation from moisture. The jacket features a YKK Vislon Slim main zipper, allowing for easy packing, a helmet-compatible hood, and pockets that are easily accessible even when wearing a harness or hipbelt.
