The Kanken backpack from the Fjäll Räven brand has been in production since 1978, and was designed to protect children's backs when carrying books to school, when bags were usually carried on the shoulder.
The Kånken No. 2 is made from durable, double-waxed G-1000 HeavyDuty with an interior back pocket in G-1000 Lite. Like its predecessor, this is a durable everyday backpack that's just as practical on the way to school or work as it is on a hike or trip.
The main compartment has a wide opening that makes it easy to put things in and take them out. The back pocket has a padded G-1000 HeavyDuty seat pad so a comfortable rest is never far away. Two open pockets on the sides and one zip pocket on the front. Leather details and handles, textile shoulder straps. The impregnation can be easily improved with Greenland Wax, which also increases durability even more.
