The Kanken backpack from the Fjäll Räven brand has been manufactured since 1978, it was designed to protect children's backs when they carry books to school, when it was used to carry the bags on your shoulder.
The Kånken No. 2 is made of durable, double-waxed G-1000 HeavyDuty with an interior back pocket in G-1000 Lite. Like its predecessor, it's a durable, everyday backpack that's as practical for use on the way to school or work as it is on a hike or trip.
The main compartment has a wide opening that makes it easy to put things in and out. The back pocket has a G-1000 HeavyDuty padded sitting pad so a comfortable rest is never far away. Two open pockets on the sides and a zipper pocket on the front. Leather details and handles, textile shoulder straps. The impregnation can easily be improved with Greenland Wax, something that also increases durability even further.
