It has a security pocket and ventilation grille on the back. The main zipper compartment has an open pocket and a key clip. It can be stored in its own pocket, so it takes up minimal space in a bag or pack when not in use.
The seams are not sealed and the zipper is not waterproof, but the main fabric itself is waterproof, so the backpack offers good protection against rain.
