The seams of the ring, both at the tips and on the sides, are finished to prevent them from getting caught when performing maneuvers in the belays, with carabiners, etc. The distinctive Fixe logo is sewn on the side of the ring to prevent friction during manoeuvres as well and the edges of the label are rounded. Slim width, only 8 millimeters, reducing the overall weight of the equipment.

The combination of materials used in Fosca tape significantly improves its strength and durability. The central part of the tape, in black, is made of HMPE (high modulus polyethylene), an extraordinarily light material with high tensile strength. Both sides of the tape have been reinforced with a polyamide profile, which is distinguished by its length indicator color, and is known for its high resistance to abrasion. This careful choice of materials optimizes the performance of the Fosca belt, making it extremely light and resistant to both traction and abrasion. In addition, polyamide is also used in safety seams.
