The Edelrid Rap Line Protect Pro Dry 6mm 60m Tender Rope is ultra-lightweight and designed for mountaineers and cavers looking to minimise weight without compromising safety. Made from a blend of polyamide, polyester and aramid, this auxiliary rope offers a dynamic reserve, absorbing some of the energy in the event of a fall. Although it is not approved as a twin rope for sport climbing, it is ideal as an auxiliary rope in alpine and technical climbing.

Use:
The Rap Line Protect Pro Dry is perfect for lowering and lifting equipment. In combination with a simple rope, it allows you to overcome long stretches of abseiling. Its use requires experience, especially for descent and one-second safety, due to its small diameter. A lowering device with high friction and a Prusik knot is recommended. It is best suited for overhanging rock routes, where it minimizes friction with the wall.
