The fibers of the insulation are bonded to a solid mesh core, so no backing fabric is needed inside the jacket. This saves weight and ensures a soft, wool-like feel against the skin. With its PFC-free DWR treatment, the wind-resistant nylon outer shell offers protection in light showers. And with its Fleece fabric inserts on the sides, the jacket provides great freedom of movement and excellent moisture management.
