The 14 cm Climbing Technology Eye Round is a classically shaped climbing spike, ideal for adventurers looking for new routes. Although not necessary on well-equipped routes, it is very useful outside sport climbing routes, as an alternative to friends or fissurers, especially in retreat situations, where the cost of a nail is lower.
Its U-shaped tip and mild steel construction allow it to easily adapt to limestone rock. The 14 cm version is classified as an S-type nail (Sicherung), meeting the requirements of a safety nail.
