Italian brand Camp has designed an innovative fall arrest device, which represents a monumental step in the safety of workers who rely on fall arrest systems for work at height. This is because rope wear is reduced to a minimum thanks to the specially designed locking mechanism, which reduces the shock force of falls (the force transferred to the body in the event of a fall) by half compared to other devices, and locks the rope along an axis rather than aggressively tightening it with a toothed cam.
Designed to lock both vertically and on an inclined plane, it slides easily along the rope during ascents and descent phases. In addition, the Goblin includes the function of an ascending rope clamp (EN 12841 type B), allowing you to change from one to the other with the simple push of a button on the back of the device.
Indispensable for work with rope access, structures and roofs, power and communications towers, pruning and self-rescue. Unique in its kind, the Goblin is approved for single use up to 120 kg and for double use in rescue (rescuer + rescued) with up to 200 kg.
