The Dozer IT-UL (ultra-light) is BCA's lightest shovel, for the weight-conscious crowd. The coreless blade and thinner-walled 7075 aluminum make this an ultralight digging machine.
All the new BCA Dozer shovels have ovo-concave shafts and "tramplable" blades. low profile. The front third of the shovel blade offers a smooth surface for cleaning. With the "stomp edge" flat BCA on the blade, it can penetrate almost anything adding body weight. Self-engaging spring pins at the blade/shaft connection make mounting/deployment quick and hands-free. All BCA extendable shovels are designed to meet the UIAA standard for avalanche rescue shovels.
