The versatility of the Beta allows you to live all kinds of adventures. Made with a durable 80D outer fabric and a lightweight, strong, PFC-free GORE-TEX ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane, it provides waterproof, windproof and breathable protection with a lower carbon footprint. The C-KNIT lining adds comfort, and the StormHood adjusts to provide good coverage without compromising the field of vision. Its articulation eliminates restrictions, and a RECCO reflector will help in emergency situations.

This product does not contain intentionally added PFAS.

The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before. You may notice that in the outer fabric the "moisture build-up" is a little faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured that this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. If you notice that the fabric accumulates moisture faster than you would like, just wash the jacket and dry it to remove oil contamination and return the DWR to its full performance.
