The Alien X is the sixth generation of the micro cam that obtained its first patent in 1986, in Colorado (United States). It retains its original character, with a new version that improves the finishes and performance of the device.
Features:- X-grip textured cams. Improves the adhesion of the cams in the first uses.
- Three more versatile sizes. The three large sizes (3/4 yellow, 7/8 gray and 1 red) can work as a passive inserter.
- More ergonomic handle and resizing. The redesign of the handle turns the Alien X into a micro cam that is easy and quick to manipulate, both in placement and extraction. In addition, it is now more comfortable to use while wearing gloves. Regarding its dimensions, 3 mm have been gained in length between the handle and the cams.
- Solid and compact construction in the whole. The metallic riveting and riveting connection make this reference micro cam a more homogeneous piece, with a more compact design.
- Lightness and reduced volume. The weight on the harness and the space it takes up in the backpack are reduced.
- The flexibility absorbs the movements of the rope preventing the cams from moving once placed.
