The Alptrek 55+10 is a comfortable trekking backpack made from lightweight, highly abrasion-resistant nylon, with a fully adjustable loading system and a high 55-litre capacity. It has been designed for hiking and long-distance activities, such as Alta Via routes.
If you need to carry more gear, there is the option to add another ten litres via the height-adjustable removable lid compartment, which also serves as a stand-alone carry bag. Our Dry Back Custom loading system is easy to adjust, with a customisable back length and individually anatomically designed padded shoulder straps and hipbelt.
In addition, compression straps ensure an optimal fit on the back over long distances, while pre-shaped side stabilisers ensure a close fit and good load transfer to the hips. Large pockets provide plenty of space for spare clothing or tent poles. There is dual access (front and top) to the main compartment to keep all your gear quickly and easily to hand (so you don't spend an hour finding your kit).
It features a hydration system outlet, ice axe/pole holder, rope closure, load control straps and side compression straps. It is also compatible with the Salewa hydration bladder holder. Other features include a rain cover, a handy drawstring for attaching additional gear, and lower attachment straps for sleeping bag insulation. A high-capacity mountain backpack with excellent load-carrying comfort and great ventilation for multi-day trekking trips.
