Rab women's hooded down-filled jacket. A new version of this lightweight, warm garment made from recycled materials that provides maximum insulation from the cold with minimal weight.

The Microlight Alpine W jacket is made from a Pertex® Quantum outer fabric with 30-denier, 50gsm nylon, an extremely fine and dense recycled material that gives it windproof properties to better preserve temperature. This fabric is completed with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment that allows it to withstand snow and light rain without any problems. Thanks to this material, the garment's durability and resistance are assured.

Thermal insulation is provided by a filling of 145 grams of down (for size 12) recycled European goose down with a inflation capacity of 700 FP; this means that one ounce (28 grams) of down of this quality has, when not subjected to any pressure, a capacity to occupy 700 cuin (cubic inches, cubic inches) or approximately 11.5 liters of volume. The down has been given a Nikwaw water-repellent treatment to prevent moisture from affecting its insulating capabilities. It is RDS certified (Responsible Down Standard) to ensure that the entire down extraction chain ensures that no unnecessary harm is inflicted on animals, such as live plucking or force-feeding.

The Microlight Alpine Jacket features a micro- and nano-block construction that minimises down migration and provides optimal down distribution, avoiding cold spots, which, together with the fixed hood, makes this jacket a perfect choice when warmth, weight and compactness are paramount. The lining and inner fabric are made from 20-denier recycled nylon, weighing 38 grams per square metre.

YKK zips on the side pockets and chest pocket. Elasticated cuffs for a better fit and drawcord-adjustable hem. Hood with built-in visor. Approximate weight of 414 grams.
