Description

The Edelrid Protect 11.0mm static rope stands out for its safety, robustness and handling. With low stretch values, it incorporates aramid fiber technology woven into the mantle, which almost doubles the shear strength compared to conventional static ropes. Ideal for industrial climbing and where protection against sharp edges is required.

Characteristics:

  • Aramid fibers for greater cut resistance.
  • ColorTec Technology: Braided design that changes in the middle of the rope for easy midpoint identification.
  • Thermo Shield treatment: optimizes sliding and prevents shrinkage.
  • 3D Lap Coil: allows direct use from the packaging without the need to unwind it beforehand.

Note: This rope is not a substitute for proper edge guards. The maximum shelf life is 14 years from manufacture (4 years of storage + 10 years of use). Duration may vary depending on use and conditions.
