The garments in the Devold® Expedition are items of underwear designed with two layers for extreme weather conditions. Proven on several polar expeditions, Devold® Expedition insulates extremely well and has a unique ability to wick away moisture. Merino wool with Aquaduct treatment gives the fibers exceptional breathability properties and is specifically designed to move moisture away from the skin side of the fabric to the outer surface where it evaporates.
The Expedition Man Shirt is a long-sleeved shirt for winter conditions, thanks to its warm and breathable interior and its natural resistance to odors. Raglan sleeves to allow full mobility. Longer back to avoid leaving the lower back uncovered when bending down.
Constructed with fine fibers of 18.7 microns thick, the fabric used is 235 g/m². The inner layer is made from 100% merino wool, while the outer layer is 90% Aquaduct treated merino wool, combined with 10% polyamide to improve durability. Flat seams.
